![]() ![]() Rise up out of that same dark place I have come from. And I have found that I have a gift to help women rise. I have found yoga, which I believe is part of my calling. I have built a host of Ohio friends that I love and cherish. Just saying goodbye to Sassafras but saying a big hello to you and Dear Wild Heart. For me at the time it was bulimia that as simultaneously killing me and keeping hanging onto this wild planet. I was grasping whatever I could to survive. My world was dark and scary to say the least. I had just left high school in Oregon and started college early in Ohio. I remember sitting on the bleachers at a local T-ball park, crying and bingeing on convenient store snacks. ![]() My maternal grandmother just passed away, literally on my 18th birthday. Here is a little exercise that I like to do this time of year, because it is also my birthday season (yay libras!).ġ8 (eek)- Just moved to Ohio, in the throws of my eating disorder. Scratch a little deeper, are you happy with your spirit? Do you feel in tune with it? Have you spent much time in meditation or contemplation? Have you discovered any more interests? What do you hope to accomplish for the rest of 2019, if anything? Where do you stand? Over these past 10 months, how has life flowed? Have you accomplished what you set out to accomplish? Did you land that job? Are you starting that venture you dreamt of? Are you still plodding away at the same gig? Did you change your spending habits? Did you travel? Did you finally decide to relinquish your control over food and dieting? Did you fall in love with Lizzo like me? The leaves are changing, the air is crisping, and we naturally start to turn within to reflect on the growing season… or at least I do. We are closing in on the end of the year.
